This analysis, conducted in the framework of the “Equal Rights for All Coalition”
Project, examines current domestic and gender-based violence prevention policies in Kosovo and the scale youth population is included in these policies. This paper analyzes how violence is defined by law in Kosovo, what are current strategies and policies in place that aim to prevent these forms of violence in our society, which institutions are responsible to protect victims of violence as well as develop policies that can engage everyone in violence prevention programs. Furthermore this paper analyzes how much young people are engaged in violence prevention programs and what are their beliefs and their knowledge regarding violence in Kosovo.
